YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
Travel, engage, educate, empower and connect with the community.
School Building Project
r180 Intl. has been building schools in the mountainous northeastern regions of Guatemala. We have established over 40 primary and secondary schools for the indigenous Mayan tribes. These schools are funded and supervised in various areas, including Lake Izabal, Rio Dulce, El Estor, and other underdeveloped jungles. We have built school buildings and community centers to benefit these communities.
We have collaborated with administrators from Guatemala City and superintendents from the Ministry of Education of Guatemala to commission teachers and develop diverse educational programs, with the goal of nurturing young scholars until they complete their secondary education.
Clean Water Project
In hopes of providing nourishment for our beautiful friends in the mountains and the jungles of Guatemala, water tanks have been installed throughout 11 school campuses:
Telesecundaria San Jose Canton
Telesecundaria Caxlanpom

Escuela Rio Zarco
Escuela Barrio Nuevo
Instituto Aj Awinel
Escuela Salamateco
Village Ch’inachaab’il ch’och’
Telesecundario El Bongo
Marcajm r180 School

From digging the depth of the wells to supplying water filters, we are devoted to assist the families and communities with healthy and vital living conditions.
Social Impact
The world is full of starving people who lack food, life, and love. This cycle is often difficult to break without outside resources coming into the community to connect, engage, educate, and empower.
Our mission involves an integrated, holistic commitment to building schools, providing education, and developing social impact programs. These programs enable graduates to start their own businesses or work for their peers, focusing on local resources and needs.
Most of the villages we work with lack electricity and running water. As we develop programs, we take into account the area's infrastructure and accessibility, even in terms of transportation. While the logistics can be challenging, we will not be stopped and will continue developing one village and one child at a time with your support.
Social impact business programs provide life lessons and opportunities, as well as local resources for underprivileged people in Guatemala. Our organization has worked on several projects, including bakeries, chicken farms, fish farms, and microfinances.
